In October, Haulmont exhibited at the Oracle Code One Conference -  formerly known as JavaOne - in San Francisco. The conference is one of the biggest events across the globe in the Java calendar and a great opportunity for Haulmont to showcase the latest CUBA developments. as well as supporting two Java User Group meet-ups and meeting up with clients on the West Coast.  

Additionally, the team also supported two Java User Group meet-ups, the first of which took place in Seattle. At this event, Haulmont developers discussed some of the most common questions that they are asked and how CUBA can help to solve them.

On the 17th and 18th August, Haulmont held a Summer Forum for THESIS customers. Clients from various industries including financial, insurance and public sector organisations met in Samara to discuss topics of interest and their experiences of using THESIS.

The AIIM Forum is an industry-leading event in which business leaders and decision makers in the information management industry meet to discuss the latest trends in technology and network with like-minded business leaders and vendors. The forum is organised by AIIM International; a community dedicated to helping businesses to streamline workflow processes, manage documents more efficiently and stay abreast of the latest innovations in ECM technologies.

We were delighted to showcase THESIS at this year’s forum as it was an excellent opportunity to raise awareness of our brand since our UK launch earlier this year.

Haulmont Technology will exhibit THESIS as the UK’s newest Enterprise Content Management (ECM) system at the AIIM Forum on Wednesday 20th June.

The AIIM Forum is an independent event which looks at new information and content management solutions and the benefits that they can bring to companies.

THESIS is an advanced and agile ECM solution which automates document and task management, helps businesses to reduce process costs, increase efficiency and productivity.

GIDS, the Great Indian Developer Summit took place in April. This summit is one of the largest conferences for developers in India with industry-leading companies supporting the event including IBM, Oracle and Google. It is the second year that Haulmont has exhibited CUBA Platform at the Summit.

The conference took place over four days in Bangalore with a footfall of approximately 5000 visitors. Each day was dedicated to a different topic and this year the topics were mobile apps and web; Java and dynamic languages; data and the cloud; and DevOps and architecture.

The ‘ECM Day’ conference took place on 6th March and was organised by TAdviser, a Russian organisation which promotes business automation.

The conference discussed issues such as ECM procurement, industry trends in Business Process Automation and innovation in ECM solutions.

Alongside other ECM providers and customers, THESIS ECM Sales Director, Alexander Nazarov gave a presentation about the successful implementation of THESIS at Moscow Research and Production Complex Avionika.

Last month, Haulmont Technology returned to San Francisco to demonstrate CUBA Platform at JavaOne 2017. JavaOne is the world’s biggest Java developer conference and this year took place on 1st-5th October.

This is the third year that CUBA Platform has exhibited at JavaOne. When the Platform debuted in 2015, the product was relatively unknown, but this has changed significantly as brand awareness has increased over the past three years. CUBA Platform is now well established within the Java community, with attendees keen to find out more about new functionalities and updates to the framework.

At the end of April, the CUBA platform team took part in the ‘Great Indian Developer Summit’ (GIDS) 2017. GIDS is held in Bangalore — the ‘Indian Silicon Valley’, home to global tech giants such as Infosys, Wipro, Oracle, etc.

This year’s event celebrated GIDS 10th anniversary with 4,000 delegates attending the four-day conference, the majority of whom were experienced or senior developers. Each day of the conference had a different theme with dedicated time spent on topics such as mobile development, Java and DevOps.

The team presented the CUBA platform at JPoint 2017, an international Java conference held on 7-8th April 2017 in the WTC Congress Center, Moscow. The main topics of the conference were productivity, parallelism, testing, distributed systems and high loads in the Java world, as well as the future of the platform.
