Streamline Taxis has been operating in Brighton and Hove since 1936. With 320 vehicles and 650 drivers, the business is a preferred supplier for major businesses and schools in the area. Streamline is a TOA – Taxi Owners’ Association. This means that the business is owned by its drivers and they make decisions about how the company in managed.

In June, we released the latest version of our ECM solution, THESIS. The key improvement in the new version is the launch of a new mobile app. Other changes include compatibility with Oracle Database.

The THESIS mobile app has been developed with React Native framework which allows for adaptations to different interactive elements to comply with various operating systems such as Android and iOS. It is available in both Google Play and the App Store. The app has been built to be easily scalable and adaptive in conjunction with the core system of THESIS and any ongoing modifications to this which may be made.

The AIIM Forum is an industry-leading event in which business leaders and decision makers in the information management industry meet to discuss the latest trends in technology and network with like-minded business leaders and vendors. The forum is organised by AIIM International; a community dedicated to helping businesses to streamline workflow processes, manage documents more efficiently and stay abreast of the latest innovations in ECM technologies.

We were delighted to showcase THESIS at this year’s forum as it was an excellent opportunity to raise awareness of our brand since our UK launch earlier this year.

GIDS, the Great Indian Developer Summit took place in April. This summit is one of the largest conferences for developers in India with industry-leading companies supporting the event including IBM, Oracle and Google. It is the second year that Haulmont has exhibited CUBA Platform at the Summit.

The conference took place over four days in Bangalore with a footfall of approximately 5000 visitors. Each day was dedicated to a different topic and this year the topics were mobile apps and web; Java and dynamic languages; data and the cloud; and DevOps and architecture.

We’re delighted to announce that CUBA Platform is launching Marketplace, an online catalogue of community-created add-ons and components that have been created on the CUBA Platform. The Marketplace gives developers the opportunity to pick and choose add-ons to customise their apps and choose from a range of both commercially available and free-of-charge components.

For those of you who are UK based, you may well have visited us last week at the PHTM Expo in Milton Keynes. The exhibition is an annual two day event in which suppliers across the UK private hire industry come together to talk about the latest trends and innovation in the industry.

We have just announced changes to the CUBA Platform which are due to be implemented in the near future. The most significant of all developments is regarding CUBA Studio. From version 7, CUBA Studio will be built into IntelliJ IDEA with a stack update, new API and new UI data layer. The full roadmap contains information about other major add-ons and new features.

The ‘ECM Day’ conference took place on 6th March and was organised by TAdviser, a Russian organisation which promotes business automation.

The conference discussed issues such as ECM procurement, industry trends in Business Process Automation and innovation in ECM solutions.

Alongside other ECM providers and customers, THESIS ECM Sales Director, Alexander Nazarov gave a presentation about the successful implementation of THESIS at Moscow Research and Production Complex Avionika.
