CUBA Platform is a Java framework built for faster software development. The framework is used by developers across the globe to create their own software and benefit from an agile, customisable platform.

On 15th and 16th May, the THESIS team exhibited at this year’s Digital Transformation Conference. The conference is in its fourth year and brings together the most innovative digital businesses to discuss best practices and new technologies. The pace of digital change has been rapid in recent years and the most forward-thinking businesses have digital transformation high on their agendas.

On 19th March, business leaders across Kazakhstan were invited to a business breakfast in Almaty to discuss document management trends and related IT security challenges.

Haulmont hosted the event in partnership with Doctor Web, an anti-virus security company based in Almaty.

It was an exciting year for Haulmont. Founded in 2008, we had a big birthday party in September to celebrate our tenth anniversary. The party was held in Samara, Russia with the London office flying over to join in the celebrations.  We also celebrated the first and second birthdays of our Saratov and Togliatti offices respectively and opened new offices in Vladivostok and Almaty.

In October, Haulmont exhibited at the Oracle Code One Conference -  formerly known as JavaOne - in San Francisco. The conference is one of the biggest events across the globe in the Java calendar and a great opportunity for Haulmont to showcase the latest CUBA developments. as well as supporting two Java User Group meet-ups and meeting up with clients on the West Coast.  

Additionally, the team also supported two Java User Group meet-ups, the first of which took place in Seattle. At this event, Haulmont developers discussed some of the most common questions that they are asked and how CUBA can help to solve them.

We’re delighted to announce that we are launching our CUBA Platform in China and will be working with a team in China to promote the use of the framework nationally.  

There is a lot of opportunity in China as there are a number of young and junior developers looking for rapid development tools such as CUBA to build on. We have been publishing articles in the Chinese community to ascertain the interest levels and are pleased to see an appetite to use CUBA Platform.

On the 17th and 18th August, Haulmont held a Summer Forum for THESIS customers. Clients from various industries including financial, insurance and public sector organisations met in Samara to discuss topics of interest and their experiences of using THESIS.

We have recently launched THESIS, our ECM platform, in Kazakhstan to continue growing our presence within the CIS territories.

Our Kazakh company has an office in Almaty which means that we can now offer onsite demos of THESIS to companies in Kazakhstan. This is helping to expedite the scoping and implementation process with new customers.
